On 16.03.2020 one pax arrived from Dubai by Emirates flight EK 542 was intercepted at exit.He appeared to be walking with difficulty as if he had leaden feet. On search it was noticed that he was wearing rubber chappals which had holes in its soles , in which he had ingenious concealed gold cut bits. 20 cut bits of gold weighing 621 grams were recovered from the soles of his chappals.On further search one gold chain weighing 19 grams was recovered from his pant pocket. Total 640 grams of gold valued at Rs.27 lakhs was recovered and seized. Pax was arrested.
