On 05-02-2020 a male pax hailing from Moga(PB) arrived from Bangkok by 6E 92 was intercepted at exit. On examination of his checked in check in luggage one digital MP3 player was found concealed among personal effects. On opening the player it was found that transformer was tempered with. On dismantling it 32 nos of silver strips were found ingeniously concealed inside. On washing with acid golden color strips recovered.Gold assayer certified the strips as gold totally weighing 259 gms worth Rs 10.83 lakhs which was recovered and seized understand CAct 62.
