Based on information, on 04-02-2020 one French national arrived at Chennai from Paris via Muscat by WY253 was intercepted at exit. On search of his person 2 gold bars, 70 gold coins and 1 gold chain wrapped in adhesive tape,totally weighing 990 grams valued at Rs. 37 lakhs were recovered from pant and seized under Customs Act 1962.
